Mrs. Prather, 94, formerly of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the residence of her daughter with her loving family by her side. She was born in Naples, Italy, to Tommaso and Carmela Perillo Viola. She was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church, was a homemaker, enjoyed drawing, knitting, and was famous for her cooking. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Anita Prather Curly; and nine sisters and brothers.
Survivors are her children, Rosemary Prather Parker and husband Mike of Brookhaven, MS, Roger Thomas Prather and wife Judy of San Francisco, CA, Leonor Prather Lee and husband Daniel of Alexandria, VA, Silvia Prather McMillan and husband Cecil of Brookhaven, MS, and Felix Andrew Prather and wife Sherry of Emelle, AL; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers are Adrian Parker, Thomas Parker, Julian McMillan, Stephen Lee, Sgt. Christopher Lee USMC, Nate Prather, Dillon Spring, and Jackson Spring.
