She was born on March 31, 1932 in Hannibal, MO the daughter of E. A. & Effie (Powell) Beaston. She married Guy Gordon on August 29, 1949 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2000. Betty was a homemaker and mother to her family.
She is survived by:
EIGHT CHILDREN: Charles Gordon and his wife Sue of Colorado; Patsy DeVerger and her husband Clifford of Quincy; Janice Weiland and her husband Wayne of Canton, MO; Alice Davis and her husband Junior of Quincy; Ronald Gordon of Quincy, IL: Parthenia Gordon of Hannibal, MO; Dale Gordon and his wife Alison of Hibbing, MN; and Roger Gordon and his wife Kelly of Payson, IL.
19 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, Betty was also preceded in death by her father E. A. Beaston and her mother, Effie Beaston Myers, a granddaughter and all of her siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Duker Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 in the Duker Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Family. Duker Haugh FH
