"Mrs. Bernice M. Brantley, age 90, of Snellville, Georgia, died September 9, 1994. She is survived by: daughter, Madlyne B. Andrews of Snellville; sister, Jessie Creighton of Atlanta; daughter-in-law, Joyce D. Brantley of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brantley was a native of Rockdale County, Ga., a member of the First Christian Church of Atlanta, a former partner with Bernice and Florence Beauty Salon in Atlanta for 25 years, and was a writer of poetry. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 12, at 11:00a.m. at Westview Cemetery."
