Vernon F. Jansky, 71, of 827 25th St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday September 11, 1990.
He was born Sept. 28, 1918 in Tisch Mills, son of the late Edward and Clara Shimek Jansky. He married Eunice Ciha July 9, 1938 at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, two sons and daughters-in-law, Wynn and Mary Jansky, Two Rivers, Keith and Robbin Jansky, Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Robert Schenck, Manitowoc, Judy and Gene Muench, Sturgeon Bay, Lori Wilfert, Two Rivers and her fiancé, Michael Bussee, Two Rivers; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Norbert Jansky, Manitowoc, Eugene and Janice Jansky, Mishicot; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Jansky, Two Rivers; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday at St. Luke Catholic church, Two Rivers with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating.
