Cora Mae (Duffy) Reading, of Citrus Heights, born on May 2, 1933 in Kittanning, PA, passed away at age 85 on June 16, 2018. She was a Letter Carrier for USPS until retiring in 1979. After retiring Cora enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong SF Giants baseball fan. Cora was the loving wife of the late Glenn Reading. She is survived by sisters, Mary Louise Lang and Jane Brown; and brother, Bob Zurney. Also survived by daughters, Mary Alice Duffy Moulton (Will); Donna Duffy Canalin (Leavy); son, Jeffrey Duffy (Hope); stepsons, Ron Reading (Marge) and Chris Reading (Debi); stepdaughter, Toni Reading Marden (Ken). Cora was the proud grandma of 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, June 26, 11:00 a.m. at the 1st United Methodist Church Roseville, 109 Washington Blvd. Luncheon to follow. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Skyview Memorial Lawn Chapel, 200 Rollingwood Dr. Vallejo, CA. Burial will be private. Those who wish may donate in Cora's name to the SF Junior Giants Community Fund at sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com.
