Linda Adkins, 71, of Ullin died at 11:10pm, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 13, 1947 in Portageville, MO, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Threlkeld) Flowers. She married John Terrell Adkins III on November 7, 1964 and have enjoyed 53 years together.
Linda was an excellent homemaker. She was a member and custodian at Ullin Baptist Church. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Terrell Adkins of Ullin; daughters, Renee Wright of Olmsted and Misty Adkins of Ullin; grandchildren, Alexa Wright, Cierra Adkins, Dawson Wright and Davine Adkins; sister, Sharon Flowers; brother-in-law, Miles (Carolyn) Adkins; nieces, Taylor and Ali Adkins; other relatives and many friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret VanMeter
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm, Friday, June 29, 2018 at Ullin Baptist Church.
Funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00pm at the church with Rev. Clint Nale officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mounds.
Memorials may be made to Ullin Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church.
