RHEA BINNING GETS TOP RATING AT MUSIC FESTIVAL
Miss Rhea Binning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Binning, received a Division 1 rating for her soprano solo last Friday at the Southwest District Music Festival in Kemmerer, it was announced Tuesday by Supt. W.R. Carmichael.

IN CEREMONY AT PINEDALE LDS CHAPEL SATURDAY, JANUARY 7
Rhea Vaun Binning daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rheo Perry Binning and Paul D Sahler Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Sahler Sr. of Miami Fla. were united in marriage, Saturday morning, January 7th. The single ring ceremony was performed in the LDS Chapel in Pinedale by Stake President Edwin James of Rock Springs.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in a dress of white satin with a nylon net bodice. Her veil of imported net was edged with chantilly lace and attached to a bonnet trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of red rosebuds.

Bridesmaid Mary Gurney and Joella Binning cousins of the bride wore blue net over taffeta and pink net over taffeta respectively. Their bouquet were of split white carnations. The little flower girl Diana Susan Dalton foster sister of the bride wore a dress of pink nylon and carried a bouquet of split pink carnations. The mother of the bride, Mrs. Binning wore a navy blue suit with red accessories and a split white carnation corsage.

William Jackson attended Mr. Sahler as best man and Perry Binning brother of the bride served as usher. Mrs. Jack Funk played the wedding music and accompanied Anita Alexander who sang, "I Love You Truly".

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the chapel. Baskets of white and lavender mums decorated the room. A three tiered wedding cake tipped by a miniature bride and bride groom and flanked by white candles centered the refreshment table. Mrs. Monte Wight arranged details of the reception and members of the Camp Fire group with whom the bride had worked as a leader served the guests.

Mrs. Robert Olson and Miss Janice Jorgensen presided at the refreshment table. Miss Nelda Rogers was in charge of gifts and Mrs. Pete Olson and Miss Esther Carmichael were in charge of the bride's book.

Mr. and Mrs. Sahler left after the reception on a wedding trip to New York and Florida. They plan to be away for several weeks.

Upon their return they will live in Pinedale where Mr. Sahler a graduate of the University of Miami at Miami, Fla. He is employed as an engineer by the Wyoming State Highway department. Mrs. Sahler graduated from Pinedale high school with the class of 1955 and attended Brigham Young University at Provo Utah during the first semester of the current school year.

Rhea B. Sahler, 67, of Cheyenne died Jan. 5 at United Medical Center-East. She was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Logan, Utah. She was a homemaker. She married Paul D. Sahler Jr. on Jan. 7, 1956, in Pinedale.

Mrs. Sahler was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a life member of Cheyenne Little Theatre Players and a member of the Cheyenne Genealogical Society. She also had been active in Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls, 4-H and did art work.

She is survived by a son, Paul D. Sahler III of Cheyenne; two daughters, Winona Williams and Katherine McAdams, both of Cheyenne; a brother, Perry Binning of Pinedale; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Sahler Jr.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- Four Mile Building with the Bishop Lyle Gadbury officiating.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cora Cemetery in Cora.
