Terry Lee Andrews, 55 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 1, 2018. Terry was born on August 31, 1962 in Kinston, NC. Terry was a good man with a huge heart. He was strong, compassionate, loving and kind. He came from humble beginnings and worked hard to achieve a wonderful life. He used these achievements to help numerous people. Terry loved to talk about the Lord and politics. Anyone that knew Terry would no doubt experience one of his “talks.” Everyone would come to him for advice and wisdom and he was always happy to take the time to talk. He would never hesitate to share the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the hope and peace that comes from Him. He also loved spending time at Goose Creek in Newport. He was known for his love of karaoke aka “Terryoke.” Everyone who would come into Terry’s life knew that he would always be there to help with any need. This same generosity was extended during his final moments with the gift of life from his kidneys. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He was an unforgettable man and his legacy will live on.

In paradise he is currently rejoicing with his father, Albert Andrews, his mother, Myrtle Andrews and nephew, John Jones, Jr.

He temporarily leaves behind his loving and strong wife, Debbie Andrews, his two children, Tyler Andrews and Adriane Andrews, his siblings, Patricia Jones and husband John, Betty Howard and husband Edward, Barbara Byrd and husband Eddie, brother, Tony Andrews and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that loved him dearly.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 7:00pm with visitation to be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Tanglewood Church of God. Graveside service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00am at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
