MEBANE - Mrs. Elnora Oliver Graves, 90, of Mebane passed away on October 16, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Irvin Oliver and Alice Burton Oliver.
She was married to the late Goley Dempsey Graves.
She was a member of Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church which she loved to attend.
She also enjoyed singing, gardening, canning and sewing.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Gregory Graves Sr. of Winston-Salem, Stephen Graves of Mebane, Rodney Graves (Mary Ann) of Cameron NC, and Mitchell Graves of Mebane; daughters, Cecelia Shaw (Bernard), Eleanor J. Graves both of Greensboro, Harlece G. Jeffries of Burlington, and Cheryl Y. Graves of Hickory; one sister, Celia Rackley of Burlington, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lessie Burke, Cathalene Oliver, and Alice Faye Oliver.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Interment will follow in the Mebane Community Cemetery.
