Clinton "Orell" Holmes, age 87 of Pensacola,Florida; born April 11, 1920 in Antioch, AL, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007. He was loved very much by his family and all who knew him. He served three years in the U.S. Army in the Panama Canal Zone during World War II. He owned and operated Holmes Auto Repair for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida & Milton Holmes; four brothers and two sisters, all of Alabama; and great grandson Troy Abney of Cantonment.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Betty Holmes; son, Jessie (Ruby) Holmes; three daughters, Marsha Gail (Bo) Campbell, Cynthia Adams, and Teresa Madron, all of Pensacola; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy.
Interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Providence Cemetery in Glenwood, AL.
