Jacob Potteiger, Son of Martin Potteiger Jr, father to Lewis Potteiger. Jacob was a lifelong farmer in Bern township, also operating what is [1909] known as the Potteiger Mill. His probate file says he had 76 acres plus 115 perches of land and died intestate, and names all his heirs. Someone has suggested that I change his spelling, because their branch of the family spells it Pottieger. The branch of which Jacob is part spells it Potteiger, so the name will not change.
