Bobbie Jean Stone, age 87, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away in her home Thursday, May 31, 2018 after battling 5 months of cancer.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Springtown Senior Center located at 1070 N. Main St., Springtown, TX. 76082.
Bobbie was born in Belle Mina, Alabama on June 3, 1930 to the late James Malcom and Mary Droke Oldham.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Herman Stone; her children Martha Bates and Scott Stone; brothers; George Oldham, Hart Oldham, James Oldham, Hollis Oldham and Lawrence Oldham; sisters: Ava Nell Atkinson, Mattie Mae Smith and Marjorie White.
Survivors include her husband Vernon Lavender, son Billy Stone and grandchildren Michelle Wallace and Joshua Stone as well as great grandchildren Ransom McCoy and Mira McCoy. She has one surviving sister Margaret Shelton.
