HEBER— William Daybell Saturday recounted his experiences as a resident of Wasatch county for more than 79 years after celebrating his eighty-sixth birthday at a family dinner in his home.
Mr. Daybell was born in Derbyshire, England, February 24, 1858, and came to Wasatch County with his parents, Finity and Mary Draper Daybell, when he was 7 years old. He is a patriarch in the LDS church.
He engaged in the farm and dairy business at Charleston most of his life, and six years ago moved to Heber City. He ia active in L D S church affairs, havng been bishop of the Charleston Ward for seven years and a patriarch for the past 25 years. His wife, Annie Price Daybell, died in 1920.
The family enjoyed a birthday dinner at his home in Heber City on Thursday. Eight of his 10 children are living: J. W. Daybell, Garfield; Earnest Daybell, Magna; J. F. Daybell, Warren Daybell and Mrs. Moroni Moulton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Archie Boren, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. E. N. Carlile, Heber City, and Mrs. H. J. Simmons, Midway; Utah. Patriarch Daybell has eight grandsons and one great grandson in the armed forces.

WILLIAM DAYBELL
William Daybell, 87, resident of Heber City, Utah died November 29, 1945. He was born to Mary Draper and Finity Daybell.
He married Annie Price on November 12, 1877 in Heber, Utah.
They had 11 children: John William Daybell, Mary Ann Daybell, James Finity Daybell, Phoebe E. Daybell, Joseph Franklin Daybell, Myrtle Daybell, Violet B. Daybell, Lula Daybell, Son Daybell, Ernest Daybell and Warren Daybell. His first wife died on February 14, 1920.
He next married Hannah Jensen a couple months later on April 21, 1920. He is buried with both wives.
At the time of his death he was a retired farmer. Olpin Brothers handled the mortuary arrangements.
