THE PARIS NEWS, 11 Feb 1968. ‘Mrs. W.A. Moore, 63, the former Miss Allie McGlothen, who lived at 1431 W. Cherry St., died Saturday at 11:40 a.m. at Lamar Medical Center. She had been ill several weeks. Born in Corinth, Miss., 10 May 1904, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of Allen and Amanda (Fendley) McGlothen. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Robert G. McGlothen [sic], San Bruno, Calif., and Charles E. McGlothen [sic], Paris, four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mattie Thanes and a brother, William D. McGlothen, both of Paris. Gene Roden and Sons have charge of service.
