ST. ANTHONY - Ruth Farrimond Wright, 79, a former resident of St. Anthony, died Feb. 1, 2000, at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell. She was born May 4, 1920, in Twin Groves, Idaho, to John W. and Millie B. Farrimond, the third of eight children. She was raised in the St. Anthony area, where she graduated from high school.
On Sept. 22, 1940, she married James "Jim" E. Wright in Lordsburg, N,M. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many positions throughout the years. She loved to read, go for rides (especially in the rain), and listen to country music. Most of all, she loved her family.
Survivors include her five children, Keith Wright of Meridian, Judy Mitchell of Rexburg, Brian Wright of Caldwell, Teresa Welbourn of Lakewood, Colo., and J' Lene Wasden of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister and a brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Anthony LDS 2nd Ward. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary in St. Anthony, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery in Wilford, Idaho.
