Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Ross Hollywood Chapel for Jacob Trout, 89, of 3736 NE Cleveland St., who died Wednesday in a local hospital. Mr. Trout, a retired railroad car repairman and refuse collector, was born Jan. 28, 1881, in Norka, Russia, and had lived in Portland 53 years.
He is survived by his wife, Katie; one son, John, Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Troudt, Portland, and Mrs. Alice Loders, Seattle; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Vault interment will be in Rose City Cemetery.
