Actor. A member of a long dynasty of Spanish actors dating from 1800s, Ozores began his career on stage at the age of twenty. Along with his wife, actress Luisa Puchol, he founded his own stock company and appeared in such popular plays as "El Chico del Cafetín," "Los Claveles Rojos," "Las Aviadoras" and "Olimpia," among many others. Ozores also appeared in many films, among them "El Bailarín y el Trabajador" (1936), "Recluta con Niño" (1956), "Manolo, Guardia Urbano" (1956), "Los Jueves, Milagro" (1957), "Crónica de Nueve Meses" (1967) and "Una Novia y un Don Juan" (1973). He was the father of motion picture director Mariano Ozores Jr. and actors Jose Luis and Antonio Ozores.
