Clarence worked for the Graham Paper Company in St. Louis until his retirement. He was a member of the St. Louis Teamsters Union.
He belonged to Scottsboro Baptist Church.
Clarence died at Marion Memorial Hospital 10 days after his 76th birthday.
He was survived by 2 daughters, Janice Cobine of Roxana, Illinois, and Brenda Hosman of Marion, Illinois; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 brother, Walter Emery of Los Angeles, California.
In addition to his mother and father, Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Visitation was held at the Mitchell-Hughes and Lemasters Funeral Home in Marion on 15 Jul 1982. Funeral services were conducted there at 1:30 p.m. the following afternoon.
