Harrison Nix was a son of Jeremiah Nix and Frances Lousia (Fannie) Webb.He married Catherine Ford September 6,1837 in Gwinnett Co Georgia.Harrison father moved to Randolph Co Ala 1846 this Nix family frist showed up on 1850 Census.Jeremiah Nix is buried in family Cemetery in the Hard woods in Randolph Co Ala as well as Jeremiah wife daughter of Austin Webb of Ga Lousia Frances Webb Nix.Jeremiah Nix faught in the 1812 War of Georgia.Harrison and Catherine remains were removed form the old Nix Homestead in Grayson,Gwinnett Ga a Company bought the old place and wanted their Graves moved so members of the family agreed only if they are moved to ChestNut Grove,Gwinnett GA.
