Bobbie Lou Hicks Pierce, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was a long time member of Unity Baptist Church and was an avid reader, quilter, and historian. More than anything else she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pierce; and her parents, Austin and Christine Hicks.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Cheryl Pierce (Ralph) Paul, Shonna Pierce, Terry (Virginia) Pierce, and Randy (Cheryl) Pierce; brothers, Gene (Sabre) Hicks and James (Sylvia) Hicks; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 9 am with Bro. Walter Mixon officiating. The interment will be in the Unity Cemetery. Pall bearers will include Brantley Pierce, Tallon Pierce, Jonathon Rayborn, Clint Evans, Josh Cook, and Adam Graben.
