Excerpt -- Mrs. Cora Idella Taylor, 89, of East State St., Terra Alta, died at 1 a.m. in Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland, Md. She was born June 26, 1869 in Terra Alta, and was a daughter of the late Amos and Elizabeth Glover Jeffreys. Her husband was the late Thomas Wesley Taylor who died in 1937 (note: should read Thamar Wesley Taylor). Survivors include two sons, Ersal C. Taylor of Akron, O., and Russell M. Taylor of Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Russell R. Metheny of Terra Alta; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Burial in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
