Italian soldier and partisan. He was the greatest exponent of the Italian Resistance movement operating in Genoa and one of the most brilliant figures in the liberation struggle. He took the nom de guerre "Bisagno" from the stream which runs through the city of Genoa. Bisagno has been called "Primo Partigiano d'Italia."
