It is with deep sadness we announce that on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Tabor Home in Morden, MB our loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother Mary Bluhm, aged 92 years passed away peacefully in her sleep with her children at her side.

Mom was born on July 14, 1915 in Rosenfeld, MB. In 1936, she married Fred Bluhm. They made their home on Nelson St. in Morden where she resided for 56 years and later moved to the Westwood Apts. and finally to Tabor Home. Mom and dad faithfully attended the Christ Lutheran Church in Morden.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters, Bonnie and Dave Young of Manitou, Doreen and Keith McAdam of Winnipeg; 3 sons, Garry and Bonnie of Winnipeg, Don and Connie of Surrey, BC, James and Denise of Ottawa, ON; son-in-law, Gordon Humphrey of Owen Sound, ON; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sisters, Alma, Anne, Lily and 4 brothers, John, Jake, Peter, Ed; 1 sister-in-law, Anne Bluhm as well as a special niece, Jacquie and family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred Bluhm in 1964 and her daughter, Gladys Humphrey in 1995.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Morris Vincent officiating. Interment took place at Hillside Cemetery.
