Reatha M. Young, 97, of Latrobe, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, in Loyalhanna Care Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Parks Township, a daughter of the late Ward and Violet (Cook) Stitt. Reatha was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Latrobe and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Young; a daughter-in-law, Kit Young; a brother, Jim Stitt; and a sister, Isabelle Daves. She is survived by five children, Marjorie Baker (Bob), Ed Young, Connie Parisi (Herb), Janet Bradley (Mark) and Shirley Musick (Brian); 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Stitt and Aleen Pearson; and a number of nieces and nephews. A special heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Loyalhanna Care Center for all that they did for Reatha and her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Christ United Church of Christ, 1414 Ligonier St., Latrobe, with the Rev. Richard Seigfried officiating. Everyone please go directly to the church. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
