Daughter of John D. Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett, second wife of Lewis L. Franklin, whom she married on August 21, 1906 in Amagansett, NY, and mother of Florence E., Dorothy, Mildred E., Barbara and John L. Franklin.

In 1900, Cora Bennett, aged 12, was living in Fresh Pond, East Hampton, NY, in the home of her parents, John Bennett, aged 54, and Elizabeth Bennett, aged 47, with siblings, Charles Bennett, aged 2, Frederick Bennett, aged 19, and Ethel Bennett, aged 10. Her father was shown to be a fisherman.

Marriage - Amagansett, August 21, Cora Bennett to Lewis L. Franklin, of Jamesport.

Obituary - Cora B. Franklin, who died Wednesday while on a visit at 139 Fourth Avenue, was buried yesterday afternoon at the local cemetery at Amagansett. She was born on Long Island twenty-eight years ago, and had lived at Amagansett for many years. Her husband, Louis; four children, a sister, and her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett, survive her. The funeral was under the direction of John J. McGuire, of 168 Fourth Avenue.
