Mrs Ida M Easton Davidson, wife of James A Davidson, died at their home on Susquehanna Avenue , Cooperstown, Sunday Morning May 22d, after a three week's illness of congestion of the lungs with asthma complications. Mrs Davidson was born forty-three years ago, the daughter of the late George Easton of Greece. She attended the Cooperstown High School under the principalship of Dr John G Wight. About 19 years agog she was married to James A Davidson, and they lived for some time at Washington DC, then at Parkersburg, W. VA, and finally returned to Cooperstown, where they have since resided. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Katherine I., Marion, and Lena Davidson; two sons Robert and James Davidson; One sister Mrs RE Reynolds of Parkersburg, W. VA., and two brothers John Easton of Greece, and Thomas Easton of New Kensington, PA. Mrs Davidson had won many friends during her residence in Cooperstown and the sweetest of memories will ever be cherished by her friends and family, to whom she was so unselfishly devoted. The funeral was held from the house Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. H. V. Hewlett of the Baptist Church, of which she was a faithful member, officiating. Interment in Lakewood Cemetery.
