Death certificate gives birth date as November 2, 1870, Canada and parents as Oliver Laparriere and Julia ? both from Canada and wife as Clara Jette. Informants name was Armand Perry (son - may have shortened the family name). Death Certificate also indicates that Joseph also was know as Perry. Most of the previous census information has Joseph and Clara using Laparriere or Laperriere alternate spelling

Census information shows they also used the last name Perry. The 1935 Rhode Island State Census had Clara and Joseph Perry living on Crescent Park in East Providence
