Moline - The sudden death yesterday of Alfred Peterson at his home, 1521 Seventh avenue, came as a shock to relatives and friends. Heart failure was the immediate cause of death, although he had been ill since last Tuesday with liver complaint. Mr. Peterson was a native of Sweden, and 44 years of age. He came to this country in 1882, coming directly to Moline and making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson, 1521 Seventh avenue, at which house he had continued to live until death. He was a bricklayer by trade, working for a number of the contractors of the city, and often acting as foreman on the larger jobs. He was an Odd Fellow, and also a member ofo the bricklayers' union. He leaves a mother, a brother and two sisters in Sweden, but no relatives in this country.
