Lydia married Henry Annis in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on July 4, 1853, when she was 19 years old. They had (4) children: Adelbert D (1855), Berdell (1857), Herbert B (1859), and Lydia Jane "Jennie" (1862).
Lydia died in 1862, and Henry died in 1863. All (4) children would be raised by Henry's siblings.
Adelbert D aka Alucious Adelbert, Delbert, Lucian Adelbert was raised by Henry's brother Andrew Annis & his wife Leah (Brown). They were last known to be in Victoria, Knox, Illinois. Unfortunately, they are the only people in this biography not found. Leah probably died between 1880-1888, as Andrew married Elizabeth Howarter in 1888.
Berdell aka Lucas Berdell, Leon Berdell was raised by Henry's sister Sarah A "Sally" (Annis) Orcutt (36071446) & her husband Sanford Western Orcutt. Sarah & Sanford were also his wife Emma's parents. She was technically his first cousin, but also he was an adopted sibling.
Herbert Bernard was raised by Henry's brother William M Annis (35726927) & his wife Delilah (Dolph).
Lydia Jane "Jennie" was raised by Henry's sister Eliza Jane (Annis) Bossom (36071003) and her husband John Bossom.
