He was a tow-motor operator with the Marion Depot for 18 years.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Louise Darnell, plus two half-sisters and a half-brother.
He is survived by two sisters, Eileen Burke and Mrs. Robert (Dora) Miley, both of Marion. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Burial in Chapel Heights.
