Alma Roberts Kiesler, 90, a native of Hawesville, and near-lifelong resident of New Salisbury, IN died May 10th [2007] in Frankfort, KY. She was married to the late William E. Kiesler for 52 years prior to his death in 1992. They raised their family, lived and worked on a farm 2 miles south of Bradford until she became ill. She was a parishioner of St. Michael's for many years and contributed many beautiful hand-made quilts to the annual Labor Day Picnic and to the St. Michael's Turkey Shoot. She was preceded in death by her husband William, her two brothers, Walter Roberts and Raleigh Roberts; and her sister, Mary Ann Gibson. Survivors include her two daughters, Vi Branham of Frankfort and Naomi Hays of New Albany, IN; three sons, James Kiesler of Lafayette, LA, Robert Kiesler of Evansville, IN, and Donald Kiesler of Naples, FL; four granddaughters, Cheri Graham of Frankfort, Ann Mary Landry and Christina Thomas of Lafayette, LA and Sara Kiesler of Deltona, FL; three grandsons, Patrick Hays of Upper Marlboro, MD, Michael Kiesler and Joey Kiesler of Evansville; six great-grandsons, Scott & Danny Graham of Lexington, KY, Zackery Charpentier and Keith Landry of Lafayette, LA, and Kelly & Alexander Hays of Upper Marlboro, MD; and two great granddaughters, Summer Landry and Olivia Thomas of Lafayette, LA.
