Anthony Newport of Palm Desert died tragically Saturday, April 21, 2007 as a victim of a shooting still under investigation.
Anthony, only 17 years old, was a friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Terri McIntyre and Darian Philbrook; brother, Aaron Philbrook of Palm Desert; sister, Brittany Philbrook of Nevada; Grandparents, Chris and Frank Pope of Oregon and Don McIntyre of Grass Valley; Aunt Michele McIntyre of Valencia.
Anthony was full of life with a heart of gold. He enjoyed all types of outdoor activities and loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed and was loved by all who knew him.
Services are to be held Monday, April 30, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert.
