Fred Benke, 1511 St. Clair Avenue, died at the St. Nicholas hospital Thursday after a short illness of pneumonia.
Mr. Benke was born in Germany on December 28, 1881. He has been employed by the Kohler Company for the past two years.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Adolph and Otto of this city, three daughters, Mrs. Rudolph Wagner and Misses Meta and Caroline Benke at home, and one sister, Anna in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at the home and from the Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. C. Pl Schulz officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.
