Mrs. Mayme Gertrude Taylor, age 87, formerly of Arab, passed away on September 26, 2018 in Tacoma, Washington.
Mrs. Taylor was born on February 2, 1931 in Marshall County to William Odis Edwards & Junie White Edwards. She was married to the late Mr. Joe Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Byron Reeves & Sheila; daughters and son-in-laws, Janelle Seaton & Rick, Carol Colburn, Kathy Hamilton & Mark; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Frank Edwards; sister, Virgie Bland.
Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan City with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include, Tyler Reeves, John Green, Arthur Peck, Joey Hamilton, James Fleischmann, Jeff McLemore.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
