She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Lohr; and brothers, Hubert, Parker, Lonnie and Beverly Williams.
Audrey is survived by son, Ron and wife, Betsi, of Wake Forest, North Carolina; grandson, Lucas Lohr and wife, Hilary, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandson, Gabe Lohr and wife, Melissa, of Anchorage, Alaska. Audrey is also survived by son, Chris and wife, Becky, of Alcoa, Tennessee; granddaughter, Bailey Lohr, of Maryville; and Ryan Collins of Alcoa, Tennessee. Audrey's sister, Ruth Williams Tinsley, still resides in Radiant, Virginia not far from where they grew up.
Audrey was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church where she served in many different roles and committees from hospitality to finance and everything in between. Organizational and record keeping skills were a forte as she found herself working professionally at the Radiant Post Office and Madison County School system administrative offices.
Audrey met her soulmate, Warren, in grade school. From that time on they were inseparable with their special bond. She had many interests in life that she pursued with passion: family, friends, flowers, genealogy, and her service to her Lord and church.
Good Hope Baptist of Radiant, Virginia will host the receiving of friends at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, with the funeral following at 2:30 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. John Green and the Rev. Kyle Balderson. A time of fellowship and light refreshments will continue at the Burnt Tree Grange. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
