Olie Bodin Jae, 83, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, in Slidell.
Mrs. Jae was a native of Franklin, Louisiana, and a resident of Slidell for the past 39 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Oleus Bodin Sr. and Laura Fernandez Bodin; one sister: Lola Ann McLoughlin; four brothers: George Manly Bodin, Bruce Anthony Bodin, Bennett Joseph Bodin, and Joseph Oleus Bodin Jr (Celina Mae).
Olie is survived by her husband of 62 years: Ronald R. Jae Sr; four children: Karen Marshall (Carl), Carol Svitek (the late Steve Svitek), Ronald R. Jae Jr. (Ariel), and Mary Jae; one brother: Van Bodin (Ruby); two sisters: Sister Janet Bodin and Judith Plauche (the late Francis Plauche) ; four grandchildren: Sherri Yingling, Renee Yingling, Sara Marshall, and Matthew Jae Marshall; two great-grandchildren: Cheyenne Jae, and Bryan Jae.
Mrs. Jae is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460, on Monday, October 8, 2018.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by Funeral Services at 11:00am.
Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
