Funeral services for George Barschow, 72, 1620 Washington St., Two Rivers, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home shortly after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. R.J. Wichlei officiating. Interment will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
He was born at Sheboygan in 1881, a son of the late William and Johannes Zaingelman Barschow. Some 50 years ago he came to Two Rivers to reside, where in 1903 he married Emma Meyer. For a short time they lived at Edgar, Wis. She died here in 1923. In 1927 Mr. Barschow married Mrs. Louse LaFond Bourtin at Two Rivers.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Alex Anderson of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Ida Klinder of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Thomas Hetue of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Robert Hayworth of Milwaukee; a step-son, Leaster Boutin of Two Rivers; and 10 step-grandchildren.
For 31 years Mr. Barschow was employed at Plant No. 1 of the Aluminum goods Manufacturing Company at Two Rivers, where he was a member of the 25-Year club. He retired in 1951.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services.
