Darlene Engle, age 58 of Dayton, reunited with her son, Daryl Lee Engle on October 17, 2018 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 10, 1960 in Dayton to the late Charles and Madeline (Fugate) Engle.

In addition to her son and parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert Engle, Tommy Engle, Charles "Duke" Engle, Gordon Engle and Tony Engle; sisters, Charlotte Whitt and Marlene Melton.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Clark; grandchildren, Carlton Clark, Caiden Clark and Audree Ferman; sisters, Melissa Sue (Larry) Hicks and Becky Engle; special nieces and nephews, Melissa Engle, Michael Engle, Ashley (Jay) Lowe and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darlene was an avid fan of dancing and music. She had an outgoing personality and very family oriented. Darlene loved spending time with her family, especially her grand babies. Her family is at peace with her passing knowing she is once again dancing and being held in the arms of her son, parents and siblings.

Family will receive friends at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment at Bearcreek Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
