J. Delmar “Del” Ebersole, 90, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at his home. Delmar was born in rural Elizabethtown, PA, on March 29, 1928, the son of Walter W. and Elva (Stoner) Ebersole. He married A. Ruth Moyer on April 9, 1949, at Hernley Mennonite Church, near Manheim, PA. They celebrated 69 years together.
His family includes his wife; Ruth; son, Dennis Ebersole (Karen Hassell); daughter, Karen Richard (Lynn); 4 Grandchildren, Angela D. Stenger (Jeremy), Christopher L. Richard (Renee), Kimberly S. McClellan (Shannon), Jeffrey D. Ebersole (Kristin); 6 great-grandchildren, Jack McClellan, Isabella Ebersole, Max McClellan, Jonah Ebersole, Sam McClellan, Josie Stenger. Del was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
