She was born on March 29, 1925 to Dale and Grace (Duke) Knecht in Montpelier, OH. In 1942 she married Donald E. Link, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Jane was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, and Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, Florida. She worked at Zeller Corp. and co-owned and operated Link Camper Sales in Defiance, and Beach Mobil Park in Leesburg, Florida. Jane was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and spending time with family was very important to her.
Jane is survived by her son, Donald Link, daughter, Pat (David) Heidepriem of Defiance, sisters, Sally Schooner and Ruth Swank, several grandchildren including Steve, Michelle, and Brandon, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Link, brother Dale Knecht, sisters, Dorothy, Donna, Marjorie, June, Caryl, Shirley, and her twin sister, Emma Jean.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memory Gardens.
