His Stevenson grandparents were among the 1st settlers in Richland Twp. in Fairfield Co., OH in the early 1800s and built the 1st Methodist Church in Ffd. Co. on their land there. His parents' descendants formed The Peters Family Assn. who published The Peters-Stevenson Family Genealogical Record and History in May, 1930. The Stevensons are named in most of the History of Fairfield Co.. OH books.
