Irma Bustamante
Irma Sanora Bustamante, 84, died October 20, 2018, in Banner Boswell Hospital in Sun City. She was born December 28, 1933, in Ajo to Carlota (Corella) & Jose Sanora. She grew up here and was graduated from Ajo High School as part of the Class of 1952. She married Henry Bustamante in Sonoyta, Mexico, on February 20, 1957. She worked at Ajo Elementary School before retiring. A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, she belonged to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and to the Ladies Auxiliary. She lived in Ajo most of her life before leaving in 2008. At the time of her death she was making her home in Sun City. Her family says she loved to watch tennis and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bustamante, who died January 21, 2005. Burial was in Ajo Cemetery.
