STEPHANIE BASCA, 96, of PHOENIXVILLE Stephanie "Steffie" (Karmazinski) Basca, a retired factory worker, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 25, 2011 in Golden Age Living Center of Phoenixville at the age of 96. Mrs. Basca, a lifelong resident of Phoenixville, was a faithful member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church of Phoenixville. Born in Phoenixville on March 14, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Niedzwecki) "Karmazinski" Olbromski and the widow of Joseph J. Basca, who died December 20, 1974. Surviving is a sister, Adela Olbromski; sister-in-law, Sophie Karmazinski, both of Phoenixville, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Joseph Karmazinski, John Karmazinski and Stanley Olbromski and 4 sisters, Anna Swartz, Francis Casmay, Pauline H. Gutkowski and Mildred Kraynak. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Dayton St., Phoenixville. Fr. Michael Rzonca, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by the Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, Inc. of Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp.
