Clinton Co cemetery database (2017) says, "B. 2-9-1829, D. 4-27-1901 Age 72 Yr. 2 Mo. 18 Da., Bur. Sec 4 Lot 142, wife Maria Coats Hildreth; children - Jessie, Birta [it looks as though "Birta" and Birten were actually the same son], Birten, Elwood, Mary M. and Birty Hildreth [according to the 1900 Federal Census, Mary M. was a daughter-in-law rather than a daughter, and Birty was a granddaughter rather than a daughter]."

There were apparently only three children rather than seven.
