ELIZABETH “Sissy” TEETER BONEBRAKE, age 81, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Monday evening, November 5, 2018, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown. Born December 17, 1936 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob A. and Julia (Fletcher) Teeter.
She worked for nearly 25 years as an administrative secretary for the Washington County Commission on Aging. In her earlier life, she worked at the former Fairchild Aircraft. Elizabeth was a 1954 graduate of Greencastle (PA) High School and attended Hagerstown Medical Secretarial School. She attended St. Ann Catholic Church of Hagerstown. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bridge and being with her family and friends.
Surviving family are three daughters, Melissa Ann Grimes, Gretchen Zook Radcliffe, and Beth Anne Bonebrake; one son, Cary Lane Bonebrake; two grandchildren; one sister, Julia Ann Teeter Burke of Riner, VA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
