Betty J. Cool, 86, of Cheboygan, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at Hospice House of Cheboygan. Betty was born Sept. 27, 1930 in Newberry, the daughter of John and Lois (Norton) MacDougall. On April 14, 1951 in Cheboygan, she married Gerald Cool.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald; her children, Sondra, Michael, Janel, Brad, Jon, and Scott; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jerry and Marlon; and a son-in-law, Bill Young.
She was a great friend, wonderful mother, and loving wife, and will be missed by all. Rest in peace mom, your loving family. No services are planned at this time.
