Services will be held Friday for Geraldine W. Harmon, 66, of 1019 Tamarisk West in Rancho Mirage, who died Monday in Eisenhower Memorial Hospital.
A native of Ohio, who had lived in Rancho Mirage for 10 years.
Mrs. Harmon was a member of the Tamarisk Country Club and the Palm Springs Racquet Club, and a docent of the Desert Museum. She taught fashion design at the College of the Desert, and also was former president of the Chicago Chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
She was a patron founder of the Palm Springs Center of Performing Arts.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Harmon; three sons, Walter Bregman of Modesto, Peter Harmon of North Hollywood, and Andrew Harmon of Studio City; two daughters, Martha Shiri and Susan Harmon, both of West Los Angeles; a sister, Shirley Bernstein of Palm Springs; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a m. Friday in the Wiefels and Son Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in Desert Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Eisnehower Memorial Hospital cardiovascular unit.
