Bette Ann Brantley, age 83, of Milton, GA passed away on October 17, 2018, surrounded by her family. Bette was born September 22, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL. She was pre-deceased by her parents Charles M. Stoddard and Elsie DeBorde Stoddard, her husband David Brantley and son David Brantley, Jr. Bette is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Elizabeth Brantley and Kimberley Ann Brantley, grandchildren Kendall Alexandra Brantley and David Kensington Brantley, her brother John Stoddard, his children Ashley Rogers Soncrant (niece), John Logan Stoddard (nephew), Ryan Christian Stoddard (nephew), daughter-in-law Rachel Brantley Hawkins. She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, FL where she met the love of her life, David Brantley. Bette and David married November 7, 1953 and were married 48 years.

Bette was a fiber artist and member of ANG (American Needlepoint Guild). Her love of needlepoint is shown in the many framed pictures, holiday ornaments, and themed displays throughout her home. Bette also had a love for gardening, cooking, reading and the beach.

Her life spanned many generations and she graced our lives not only as a mother, but a grandmother. Her love of family and friends are her legacy.

We celebrate not only her life, but her joyful reunion with all of her loved ones in heaven. A Celebration of Life (graveside service) will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 11am, Roswell Funeral Home 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
