Anna Z. Nissley, 104, of Telford, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Claude J. Nissley, Jr. who died in 1996.
Born in Lancaster County, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Basler) Zug.
She was employed as a seamstress for various local clothing manufacturing companies, prior to her retirement in 1974.
Mrs. Nissley was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Telford where she volunteered in many church activities. One who loved her close-knit family, she also loved to sew, wearing out several sewing machines, and quilting.
She is survived by a son, Guy Nissley of Rock Cave, WV, a daughter, Marla White and her husband Harold of Missouri, and three grandchildren: Bradley White, Darrell White, Gil Nissley.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville. Family will receive friends from 10-10:30 AM prior to the service. Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
