George Morgan, was born in Hackney in in 1821 the son of John and Elizabeth Morgan. He was baptised on the 3rd of January 1821.

He was a miller who married Eliza Brown the daughter of Jared Brown (see Grave J9 Section II), who was a miller at Frimley Green. Jared died in 1847 and on the 9th of August 1849 George married Eliza at Pirbright. He took over as miller at the old windmill in Frimley Green (now converted in part to a house).

They had five children the eldest of who was named George Jared Morgan. He was baptised at St Peter’s on the 4th of August 1850.

When the mill closed in the late 1850s he moved to the Kings Head beerhouse in Guildford Road, Frimley Green where he was landlord until 1871.

At the time of his death on the 20th of May 1879 he was working as an assistant overseer in Frimley. It is not clear who he was working for. He was buried at St Peter’s in Frimley on the 25th of May 1879. His wife was buried at St Peter’s in November 1920. It is possible she was also buried in this plot.
